Score! World Goals is a football puzzle game built around recreating famous goals from real matches rather than controlling an entire team for 90 minutes. Each challenge begins shortly before a scoring moment and asks the player to reproduce the passes, crosses, and final shot that led to the goal. There is no story campaign or fictional protagonist. Progress is organized around historical football situations taken from domestic leagues, European competitions, and international matches.
Recreating Famous Goals
The player does not freely move footballers around the pitch. Instead, the action pauses at important moments and the ball is controlled by drawing a line across the screen. The direction, length, and curve of that line determine how the player passes or shoots. A pass may need to reach a teammate in a particular position before the next part of the sequence begins, while the final swipe must send the ball past the goalkeeper. Failed attempts can be restarted immediately.
Levels and Different Challenges
Score! World Goals contains hundreds of individual goal scenarios grouped into themed packs and periods of football history. Completing stages earns in-game currency that can be used to unlock additional collections.
· recreate passing sequences from real matches;
· perform crosses into the penalty area;
· curve shots toward different parts of the goal;
· score directly from free kicks;
· complete Amateur, Pro, and Bonus versions of challenges;
· earn up to three stars for a level;
· unlock additional goal packs by progressing through the game.
More difficult versions require greater accuracy and can change the way a familiar goal must be completed.
The level structure replaces a traditional season or career mode. Packs cover different eras and competitions, including international football from the 1990s and 2000s and collections connected with major tournaments. Because every stage starts close to the decisive moment, gameplay concentrates on constructing the scoring move rather than defending, managing formations, or playing through complete matches.
How to Play
Success depends on drawing accurate ball trajectories. Straight lines can produce direct passes, while curved paths allow shots and crosses to move around defenders or toward particular areas of the goal. Players need to observe teammate positions, follow the required sequence, and adjust the final swipe if a goalkeeper or defender stops the attempt. Better performances receive higher ratings, encouraging players to replay the same goal and reproduce it more precisely before moving on to another historical challenge.
