No, I’m not a Human is a first-person psychological horror game set during a catastrophe in which daytime temperatures have become deadly and strange creatures known as Visitors appear at night. The protagonist stays inside his house and must decide who can be trusted enough to enter. Remaining completely alone is dangerous, but letting the wrong person inside can be equally fatal. The story develops through nightly visitors, television reports, conversations with guests, and the gradual collapse of the outside world.
Who Is Human?
Each night, different people arrive at the door asking for shelter. Some are ordinary humans, while others are Visitors that imitate human appearance and behavior. During the day, television broadcasts provide new information about possible signs that can identify them. The player can then inspect people already inside the house, question them, and decide whether they should remain alive. Because available energy limits how many examinations can be performed, it is impossible to check everyone without choosing priorities.
Daily Decisions and Survival
The main gameplay revolves around managing the people inside the house and reacting to events. Important actions include:
· answering the door at night;
· allowing or refusing strangers entry;
· speaking with guests and learning their stories;
· examining suspicious physical characteristics;
· comparing findings with information from broadcasts;
· deciding whether someone is human or a Visitor;
· eliminating suspected Visitors;
· managing limited opportunities to investigate guests.
No single sign always provides complete certainty, so decisions frequently involve incomplete information.
The game does not use traditional numbered levels. Progress is divided into consecutive days and nights, with fixed story events mixed with visitors and situations that can differ between playthroughs. Society deteriorates as the heat, fires, Visitors, military measures, and other events become more severe. Who remains in the house also affects later situations, creating routes that may not appear during every run.
Endings and Replay Structure
Choices determine how the protagonist’s story ends. The current game contains multiple endings connected to conditions such as surviving until the final days, keeping particular characters alive, allowing Visitors to remain inside, cooperating with specific groups, or triggering special event chains. Some conclusions can occur before the normal end of the timeline, while others require surviving until the house is finally sealed. Replaying No, I’m not a Human is therefore necessary to see different visitors, test other suspicions, follow alternative events, and discover how different combinations of trust, isolation, and violence change the outcome.
