The Coffin of Andy and Leyley: Episode 2, titled Graves, continues directly after Andrew and Ashley escape from their apartment. The siblings hide in a motel while authorities believe they died in the apartment fire, but their situation quickly becomes dangerous again. Ashley’s supernatural visions warn them about an approaching attacker, and their lack of money eventually pushes them toward their parents’ home. The episode develops the Graves family history while showing how Andrew and Ashley’s codependent relationship changes after the events of the first chapter.

Returning to the Graves Family

Most of Episode 2 is a story-driven adventure with exploration, conversations, choices, and light puzzles. Players move through locations, collect or interact with necessary objects, and occasionally switch between Andrew and Ashley. A large section focuses on their parents, Renee and Douglas, whose interactions reveal more about the siblings’ childhood and family dynamics. Eventually, Andrew and Ashley decide that their parents could expose them and prepare another demonic ritual.

The episode includes:

  • exploration of several new locations;
  • playable sections with both siblings;
  • dialogue choices that affect later events;
  • light inventory and environmental puzzles;
  • supernatural visions and demonic rituals;
  • flashbacks explaining parts of Andrew and Ashley’s past;
  • multiple possible outcomes;
  • the major route split leading into later episodes.

One Decision Divides the Story

Episode 2 is especially important because its choices determine whether the story follows the Decay or Burial route. During the confrontation with their parents, Ashley must decide how much she trusts Andrew. If she leaves him alone with them, Andrew receives an opportunity to reconsider his relationship with his sister. His response, combined with Ashley’s earlier decision, determines which route becomes active.

Visions Reveal Different Futures

After the parents are sacrificed, their bodies are disposed of and partially used as food, continuing the game’s combination of psychological horror and dark comedy. The supernatural entity also provides visions that differ according to the selected route. The Decay path emphasizes growing hostility and the possibility that one sibling may eventually kill the other, while the Burial path explores a future in which their attachment becomes even more inappropriate and difficult to separate.

Episode 2 does not use conventional levels, combat stages, or character upgrades. Progress comes from moving through scenes, solving small puzzles, examining objects, and making decisions at important moments. Graves functions as both a continuation of the escape story and the central branching point of the larger game, with its final choices determining which version of Andrew and Ashley’s relationship the following episode develops.
